Put in as much detail as you can and be honest about your yourself. Doing so will increase your chances of finding your perfect mate. Please remember that you will not be able to connect with anyone until you complete your profile.

3. Connect!
The heart of hip&single is connecting and communicating with interesting people. If you have found a person you would like to connect with, just click the “Connect” button. An email will be sent to him/her asking them to accept your request. Once accepted, you will be notified by email and the two of you may begin communicating.
Please note that you can have an unlimited amount of pending connections, but we limit your active connections to eight. This is out of respect for both you and your potential mate. No one wants to manage dozens of connections, and we believe in quality over quantity.
Of course, at any time you may choose to close a connection. And, if you change your mind later, we offer you the option to re-open that connection. Should you feel someone is being rude or offensive in some way, you can also block that connection permanently. |

4. Communicate!
Once connected, we offer two ways to communicate:
- 1. Sending emails through hip&single to protect personal information from being shared, such as email addresses or phone numbers.
- 2. Chatting via the instant message chat box on the lower right.
We strongly encourage you not to share any personal information about yourself until you feel you know your connection very well. Please protect your privacy. If anyone is sending explicit or threatening messages to you, contact hip&single, and we will take the appropriate action. Please note that hip&single does proactively monitor members’ pictures for inappropriate content. |
